Peterborough and Spalding Gliding Club offer an amazing experience for local business’s to treat their staff and employees to a memorable evening out with a difference. Our corporate groups and private, family & friend functions run throughout the summer months. During the summer these events take place on weekday evenings. Weekend daytime flying sessions are also available for bookings during the whole year including winter months. During the winter Gliding Experience Packages are only bookable at weekends during daylight hours.
Highlights include:
A 2000ft aero tow in one of the club training gliders with a fully qualified instructor. Flight to last typically 20 minutes dependent on weather conditions.
Two month’s temporary membership, allowing participants to return on a regular flying weekend day for further flying at members rates.
Access to our friendly licensed bar, for drinks and snacks (well-priced)
All in all, an exciting and different night out!
There are very few things that can compare with the gentle and graceful sensation of floating high above the East Anglia countryside. Flying Evenings allow you to experience the pleasure of flying silently like a bird.
Group Size
The minimum number of people to book a group flying package is six.
We recommend a maximum group size of twelve to ensure that everyone gets the opportunity to fly before sunset.
Prices
Our group flying discount packages are priced at just £85 per head for a minimum of five people.

For further information or to make a booking, please contact us.
Conditions
A deposit of £30 per head is required when booking. This is non-refundable if you cancel your booking later than 14 days before the event.
Although we fly all year round, low cloud, rain or particularly strong winds make gliding impossible. Should we be affected by poor weather then you can choose to either have your deposit refunded or book another date.
